From the VU, two teams competed:
- LuLu: consisting of Luuk Hoekstra and Lukas Kompatscher
- Lightning McQueen: consisting of Alan Edwin, Peter Gabriel and Jotan Stoel
Qualification
The Dutch qualifications were held at the NXP factory in Nijmegen where the VU teams competed against 12 other teams from Nijmegen and Düsseldorf. The two fastest teams qualified for a spot in the finals in Bucharest.

Finals
The global finals were held at the Dutch NXP headquarters in Eindhoven, where the VU LuLu team competed against 18 other teams from Europe, the Middle-East and Africa.
